Organic Thanksgiving Dinner

Thanksgiving day is American tradition.
I bought 14.5 lb turkey 2 days before the event!

Brining with brining kit from wholefoods.
Mix the brining kit in the water and heat up and soak turkey in it.

The day before, I made bread with sprouted spelt flour and raw agave.

Thanksgiving day in the morning, I sautéed celery, onion, and garlic, sea salt and put chicken stock.

Then added homemade bread.

Then put in the turkey. Put the rest that does not fit in the turkey in the foil and bake in the oven.

Put butter and flour in the turkey bag and shake it and our stuffed turkey in a turkey bag.

Bake 355 degrees for about 6 hours...

Cut corner of turkey bag and pour into sauce pan. Put corn or potato starch with water and cook with high heat till it is thick.

It is super easy to make cranberry sauce.
You buy cranberries and sauté with raw agave, grated ginger and a bit of sea salt and water

After just about 10 min it will look like this.

I made Dinner rolls also.
With caremelized onion, mozarella and Parmesan cheese on top of homemade dough and roll and cut it.

Let them rise for 2-3 hours

And bake for about 30 min in oven

Sautéed green beens with olive oil, diced garlic, sea salt and olive oil.

Mashed potato. I highly recommend Yukon Golden potato. After boiling and draining the water, add unsalted organic butter and sea salt and mash it!

Finally our thanksgiving dinner is ready!! 音譜

It was super delicious and very organic/healthy meal ever! My family enjoyed a lot also.
Including prep and clean up it took me 12 hours but worth it for once a year tradition!
